Hiroshima to Matsue 1000-yen Bus in Operation (April 1st, 2024–March 31st, 2025)

 

We've compiled an FAQ on the most common questions asked about the Hiroshima to Matsue 1000-yen bus to refer to when making use of the service.

Q.1. Is the offer currently available?

A.1. You can avail of the 1000-yen one-way ticket price until March 31st, 2025.
       To avail of the offer, you must fulfill the following 2 requirements.   

  1. Be visiting Japan under a Short-Term Stay visa status.
  2. Fill out a survey.

    *Please see Q.3. regarding requirement 1. The survey for requirement 2 will be given to you when purchasing the ticket. Please present it to the bus driver when getting off.

  

Q.2. Can I reserve by phone or online in advance?

A.2. You cannot. You can only purchase the ticket up to one week before the journey from the ticket counters. The three applicable ticket counters are as follows.

  1. Hiroshima Bus Center (Hiroshima Sogo 3rd Floor)
  2. Bus Ticket Counter (Hiroshima Shinkansen Exit Transportation Information)
  3. Ichibata Bus Matsue Station Front Ticket Center (in front of JR Matsue Station)

Q.3. What do I need to have when purchasing a ticket?

A.3. All those who will take the bus must show their passports. Only those with the Short Term Stay immigration stamp or sticker in their passport can purchase the discounted ticket.
